Bounty Durability Test, Bounty Paper Towel Coupons
Well we have all seen those commercials stating bounty is just as good, or better then household rags. They go on an on about how Bounty can take on the toughest messes and not tear like regular paper towel, but I ask how many of us have actually tried this? Normally when I have a large spill I would go straight for the rag. It is easy quick and I know its not going to tear open on me and cause and even bigger mess. So I wanted to see if Bounty paper towels could actually live up to the hype. I recently tried (not by choice) three different spills to see how well bounty paper towels pick up the mess.Tomato sauce: I made great pasta and had some left over, I spilled it on the counter. Instead of grabbing that oh so easy rag I went right to work with bounty paper towels. I started with one sheet but the tomato sauce leaked through, didn’t tear it but I didn’t like the feeling so I doubled the sheets up. This was great and the towels actually felt like a rag. Mess cleaned up and disaster averted.
Grape juice: spilled a glass of grape juice all over the carpet, was quite disappointed but figured hey, I mine as well try these new bounty paper towels out, I tried one sheet and the sheet was torn in moments, the friction from the carpet was to much for it to handle. I tripled the sheets up and it felt like it was a rag, it left nothing behind and soaked up most of the grape juice stain I had no problem; in fact it worked great to get the stain out!!
Chilli-well this was a tough one, the chilli was full of beef and vegetables and half a bowl falling on my carpet was a disaster. Normally I would start with one sheet of bounty to see how it worked but I didn’t even try one sheet and tripled up the towels, Bounty did a great job, it soaked up all the chilli and had enough strength to allow me to carry the large chunks to the garbage. This was one of the deciding factors for me as Bounty did a great job in my book and has made me seriously consider switching to just paper towels
So in closing I was pleasantly surprised by the power of these little towels, and with the right bounty coupons you can get them for basically free. This can save you a lot of money in the long run as one roll of paper towel equals 3 bags of rags. Also bounty towels decompose a lot quicker then rags as they use no artificial plastics or synthetics. No longer do I see paper towel as just a napkin or last minute sneeze guard. Bounty has made a believer out of me.
